Welcome to Mepto Merge, a mobile game developed by Merge98 Studios and integrated with Mepto Shop. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how you can manage your data, and how to request deletion.

1. Information We Collect

  • User-provided information: name, email address, and phone number — these are collected only if you provide them (for verification, rewards, or support).
  • Gameplay Data: scores, levels, in-game events, progress, and other gameplay statistics used to calculate rewards or discounts.
  • Advertising & Analytics Data: device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), ad impressions & clicks, basic device info (model, OS version), and usage analytics (session length, crashes).
  • Reward Data: any information necessary to validate and apply score-based discounts or offers on Mepto Shop; reward values may change dynamically based on gameplay and ad interactions.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To verify and identify users for rewards or discount offers on Mepto Shop.
  • To provide, operate, and improve the game (including bug fixing and analytics).
  • To display and measure advertising (including personalized and non-personalized ads).
  • To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or misuse of rewards.
  • To communicate about rewards, account verification, or optional promotional messages (only if you opt in).

3. Advertising & Third-Party Services

We use third-party advertising partners (for example Google AdMob and similar networks). These providers may collect or receive information about your device and interactions with ads in order to deliver and measure advertisements. This may include anonymous identifiers, approximate location, and ad interaction data.

4. Data Sharing

We may share limited information in order to operate our services:

  • Ad networks: to serve and measure ads.
  • Mepto Shop servers: to validate scores and apply discounts or offers.
  • Email/SMS providers: to deliver verification codes, reward notifications, or transactional messages.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and gameplay data only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. If you request deletion, we will remove your data from active systems and stop using it for new processing (see section “Data Deletion Requests” below).

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it as soon as possible.

8. Your Rights — Access, Correction & Deletion

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data stored by us. To request these actions, please contact us using the email address below and include the required details so we can verify your identity.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to meptoshop@gmail.com with the subject: Data Deletion Request.
  2. In the email, provide:
    • Your full name (as provided in the game, if any)
    • The email address or phone number you used in the app
    • Your in-game User ID (if available) or a screenshot proving account ownership
    • A short description of the request (delete all personal data / delete account / export data)
  3. We may ask a simple verification question (e.g., confirm last used device or last score) to prevent fraudulent requests.
  4. Once verified, we will process deletion or other requested actions within 30 days where possible and will notify you by email when completed. Some residual data may remain in backups for a short period but will not be accessible for active use.

9. Exporting Your Data

On request we can provide a copy of the personal data you provided to us in a commonly used machine-readable format (e.g., CSV or JSON). Email meptoshop@gmail.com with subject: Data Export Request and the same verification details as above.

10. Opting Out of Promotional Communications

If you receive promotional messages from us and want to stop, reply to the message with “STOP” or contact meptoshop@gmail.com. We will honor opt-out requests promptly.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in servers or service providers located outside your country. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated policy will appear on this page with the revised “Last updated” date.
